Markham Golden Acre surely is golden.
From the moment one steps into the store, it is a great experience. The store has a vibe and ambiance that is backed by outstanding service and facility.
The staff is attentive and as a customer, you are acknowledged. The sales assistants have found a way to be helpful without being overbearing. They allow you the freedom to browse and while doing so you feel secure because you know that help isn’t too far away. They don’t only deliver on service. The store is kept as tight as a good perm – not a hair out of place.
Speaking about hair, the addition of a barber inside the store screams luxury – it almost made me cheat on my barber. This coupled with the store-in-store experience, as the electronic section is a store itself and its perfect execution, takes this Markham to the next level.
The one thing that needs to be done to push this store over the edge is to better the fashion knowledge of the sales assistants. They offer great service but terrible fashion advice. A colour palette was suggested to me that would start World War Three with my complexion.
The cashiers are fast, efficient and polite. The point of sale is also kept tidy which is in sync with the rest of the store. It offers a great final impression and adds to the overall experience.
Markham Golden Acre offers a smooth shopping experience that can be described as liquid gold. It is a sensational in-store experience. Now let’s hope that liquid gold stays that way and doesn’t turn out to be a knock-off alloy.
